        The Economic Substance Regulations were enacted in the UAE to ensure that entities (in certain sectors) conduct substantial economic activity within the UAE and to ensure that profits reported reflect the economic activity. 

        As part of the Economic Substance Regulations, entities registered within the UAE must file a notification within the month of June 2020.
