Roberto is an Of Counsel of the Financial Services and Capital Markets Department at the Milan Office in Italy. Roberto is widely regarded in Italy as a specialist in capital markets and listed companies' compliance, as well as in financial and banking regulation.

Roberto has a top-notched expertise in capital markets having assisted some of the most important Italian industrial and financial groups in relation to a variety of equity transactions, such as IPOs and rights issues, debt offerings (including structured products), accelerated book building and block trade agreements, private placements and takeovers.

Roberto's expertise also covers industrial M&A transactions, with a specific focus on public M&A deals and acquisition of, or by, listed companies or other regulated financial intermediaries.

Roberto assists banks, fund managers, investment firms and other regulated financial intermediaries in a variety of financial services issues, including MiFID, AIFMD, UCITS, crowdfunding and fintech.
Roberto has been awarded an LL.M in Comparative Jurisprudence at the New York University – School of Law. Before joining DWF, Roberto has been a partner in two international law firms and General Counsel of the Italian branch of a Swiss bank.

He is regularly invited as speaker at seminars and conferences on capital markets and listed companies' compliance matters.
